The Eagan Pet Clinic Family


 

 
Jill - Office Manager   Michelle - Receptionist

Jill has been a reoccurring part of our Eagan Pet Clinic family since 1988.  She first began as our kennel assistant.  Jill attended college and rejoined our staff in 1992 and worked with us for 2 years as our veterinary assistant.  We were fortunate enough to welcome Jill back to our family in August, 2000 as one of our valuable receptionists.  She shares her home with her husband, 2 kids, 2 cats and 1 dog.

 

Michelle has been a part of our Eagan Pet Clinic team since June, 1993.  She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, and trying to keep up with their busy little boy!   Michelle shares her home with her 2 dogs, Sarah and Angel.   

     
 
Melanie - Receptionist   Megan - Receptionist

Melanie has been a charismatic part of the E.P.C. since February 2004.  She is a valuable and versatile employee who puts a smile on everyone's face.  Melanie enjoys spending her free time at home in the country with her St. Bernard, Great Pyrenees, Shih tzu, Two Poodles-----------, Two Black Labs, seven cats, two goats, two sheep, two donkeys, and many ducks and chickens.  Melanie is happily married to her very loving and very understanding husband.

 

Megan joined the Eagan Pet Clinic family in October 2009.  She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Argosy University, and comes to us with 4 years of great experience from a veterinary clinic in southern MN.  Megan shares her home with her boyfriend, 4 cats, Hemi, Hogan, Chloe, Mouse and her Old English Bulldog O'Malley.

     

 

Terri - Certified Veterinary Technician

 

Angie - Certified Veterinary Technician

Terri graduated from the Medical Institute of MN and became a member of our team in April, 1990.  Terri has two beautiful black and white cats, Myron and Manfred.  She loves to spend her free time going to concerts and plays, listening to music, cooking, watching movies and dining at fine restaurants.

 

Angie joined the E.P.C. in March of 2008 and is a wonderful and delightful addition to our team.  She graduated from Argosy University and is a Certified Veterinary Technician.  Angie lives with her husband, two dogs: a Rottweiler and an Akita Mix, 3 cats and a Guinea Pig.  In her free time she enjoys yoga, reading and going to the dog park.

     

 

Melissa - Certified Veterinary Technician

 

Ammber - Certified Veterinary Technician

Melissa graduated from Argosy University, in October 2005. She has been a member of the Eagan Pet Clinic family since January 2005. Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, and learning about motherhood. She also enjoys days off with her family in a volunteer work, camping, fishing. The family shares the house with 2 mischievous cats, Duncan and Rafiki.

 

Ammber is a Certified Veterinary Technician and began her veterinary career eight years ago at a small animal clinic in Wisconsin.  After 3 years there, she began working at a referral clinic in the emergency department.  She stayed in Wisconsin for another year and a half before moving to the Twin Cities.  She continued a full time career in emergency medicine and worked part-time for an animal dermatologist.  Ammber eventually left emergency medicine, and became part of the E.P.C. family in August 2007.  For the past seven years she has also been running a loving and caring in-home pet sitting service.  Ammber lives in the Southern suburbs with her boyfriend, and five cats, Tippy, Tummy, Thomas, Sparky, and the always-lovable Kittylicious.

     

 

Leesa - Vet Assistant/Kennel Assistant

Leesa has been a wonderful member of the EPC staff since August of 2006.  She is currently a Pre-Vet student at the University of Minnesota.  She hopes to enter Vet school within the next few years.  She also completed an internship with us where she worked closely with our doctors and with friends and family.  she is the proud mother of an adorable miniature bulldog named peanut and a naughty but nice kitten named Bennee.

 

Deb joined the E.P.C. kennel staff in May 2005 and has been a wonderful addition to the reception team since October 2007.  She lives with her husband, four children, two English Bulldogs, a Black Lab and 4 cats.  Deb spend her free time chauffeuring her kids around, going to dog parks and reading.

     

 

Bruce Hansen, DVM  

Jessica Schowalter, DVM

Dr. Hansen graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1975.  Upon graduation, Dr. Hansen joined the Eagan Pet Clinic family.  In 1979, he and Dr. Metcalf became owners of  the Eagan Pet Clinic.  Dr. Hansen spends his free time on his bicycle, building boats, and spending time in the great outdoors of northern Minnesota.

 

Dr. Schowalter graduated from the University of Minnesota in May of 2006 and joined Eagan Pet Clinic soon afterwards.  Dr. Schowalter shares her house with two Chihuahuas and three cats.  On her off time, she enjoys camping, fishing and horseback riding.

     

 

Tim Metcalf, DVM  

Suzanne Wood, DVM

Dr. Metcalf attended veterinary school at the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1975 with Dr. Hansen.  After school Dr. Metcalf worked as veterinarian in Minnesota and Wisconsin before he and Dr. Hansen partnered to become owners of the Eagan Pet Clinic in 1979.  During his free time Dr. Metcalf enjoys photography, biking, and playing tennis.  He & his wife, Carolyn, also enjoy gardening and playing laser mouse with their two cats, Jerry & Tadpole.

 

Dr.Wood graduated from the The UW Madison in 1995.  She has
been a member of the Eagan Pet Clinic family since then.  On her days off, she enjoys spending time with her family, riding her horse and walking her 3 labradors.
